I do nt completely understand why you people are insisting on using Farsi alphabet for names like "وی فور وندتا" (V for Vendetta). It took me a couple of moments to figure how to read that. People can read English alphabet no matter where they are and what is the point of "Persionizing" a name?

Thank you for your prompt response to my request. Whether you decide to write in English or Persian, it's fine with me and I don't see any reason why a bilingual Iranian shouldn't be able to read both. Going back to the movie however, I found your comment very similar in tone, to what I would have been saying. After all, the people with whom we've seen a movie, the movie-theatre itself and lots of other factors account for our interpretation of a "text," (obviously, what I mean by "text" covers a much wider range than its regular usage). Jacques Derrida in his "Dessimination," includes the margins of the pages as part of the text. That, I don't not find surprising in the least. I don't know who this "rish-ghermez" is, but his mere presence during the movie, has made you associate "V for Vendetta," with him. For me, the movie, was evocative of some of the tactics used by the Iranian statesmen. However, when I mentioned this to a Canadian friend of mine, he told me that it was all about the governments of the United States and Britain!
